SENIOR SESSION: Sarah CO2018

My list of edits is getting longer and longer...and it seems like each day is getting filled with more and more things...like conferences for each child, at each different school...and sports banquets and driver's training and husband's travel and soccer practice (how is soccer not over yet???) and meetings for the WashingtonDC trip the last week of the month, and the play, and ortho appointment because of course THIS month is the month in which braces can finally come off...

it's like the never ending list of things to do...

And I'm a grown adult who has already been to college, earned a degree, got married, had children and now runs a business...

if so many of my "ducks are already in a row", I can't even begin to fathom the list for a Senior graduating this year...

Oh the things that must be accomplished before May rolls around...not to mention all the Lasts...but, more importantly, all the decisions having to be made, finances to be discussed, class to attend, tests to study for, friends to soak up last minutes with...

so, so, so much...

Sarah has many of those decisions still ahead of her...she's in the same "boat" as the rest of the graduating class of 2018...and yet, walking around the city with her a little while back, you may have felt like she didn't have a care in the world...

What a gift to be able to look circumstances, challenges, and just LIFE in general, in the face with a SMILE...

She's got an inner strength or confidence or security that allows her to not "sweat the small stuff"...or better yet, she doesn't even really "sweat" the big stuff either.

I loved the sign that her mom got her...and though it's only a short 8 words...in it, is carried a  message of victory...

And so...tests are on the calendar, college visits are still being scheduled, there are huge unknowns still awaiting...

and Sarah is secure...she chooses JOY...she invests in the REAL stuff that lasts and just keeps putting one foot in front of the other...completely blessing everyone that happens to cross her path...

Congrats Sarah on a wonderful year!  You are a treasure!
