InHOME LIFESTYLE: Baby Sister

I was told that having a baby "changes everything"...

When the 2nd one comes along, however, it has a tendency to "rock your world"...

It's not a bad thing...it's just change...and change can be nerve-wracking and exhausting...and with any amount of change, there is a period of transition and trying to figure it out...

Every baby comes into a different family dynamic and then changes it even more...

I met this family back when it was just newly three of them...

I've met up with them in between time as well...and I was honored to be invited into their new home to welcome baby #2...

I marveled at the ease in which they were adjusting to life with FOUR....

It's not easy...there are adjustments to be made...especially for a new big brother AND a new home, into which they had just settled...

but this dear momma has also settled into a rhythm and a comfort and a confidence...

I don't say these things to give the perception of perfection or of "having it all together"...

who EVER has it all together?

however, she has learned, and is learning, to focus on the cherished moments...whether it be crying or sleeping or laughing...she has learned the art of letting go, and in doing so, she is marvelously free to be IN the moments with her husband and her children...she is free to enjoy what IS and not worry about what is not...

their home is welcoming and quaint and filled to the brim with loving on one another...with acceptance and living in the day to day!
