SENIOR SESSION: Noah CO2020

If you've seen some of his sneak peeks on my other social media platforms you will know that Noah's session took place on one of the HOTTEST days in July...some crazy heat wave came through and even at 7 o'clock IN THE MORNING, we were climbing through the 80 degree mark...and I won't even go to what it "felt" like with the humidity...

And still he smiled...

He laughed...

he joked with his mom...he was compliant...he took it all in stride...

THIS is what respect looks like...it's what "doing-the-right-thing-even-when-you-don't-feel-like-it" looks like...

and with a positive attitude...

I'm sure there were moments of  "oh my goodness I'm sweltering", but he had control of his responses...he made a choice BEFOREhand...and that choice was to be kind...to do the job set before him...

These are character qualities are so, so needed in our society today...people that make a choice beforehand, to do what is right...so when faced with challenging circumstances, they already have their mind made up...and therefore their response is muscle-memory, so to speak, instead of "reacting" or "having a meltdown"

We worked fast so that we could all get relief from the heat...and Noah was a trouper...I have no doubt that he'll always remember his Senior Session on the hottest day in July...

a time with Mom...

that made her smile (and maybe a little teary)...

Congrats Noah on a fabulous Senior year!

Can't wait to watch you play this Fall!

SENIOR SESSION: Kendel (Kendelee) CO2020

I wanted to post the cute little picture of her in her diaper...or the one of all the cousins decorating cookies when they were toddlers...or the one where she scaled the fence during senior pictures and stuck out her tongue...

Yeah...Hmmm....

so in order to possibly uphold the "cool aunt" status that I want to maintain, I decided it may not be in my best interest to share said pictures...

Instead...I'll share with you this beauty in all her prettiness :)

Kendel has always been a LIGHT...a firecracker...the one that keeps the party going and makes sure it runs smoothly at the same time...she always has a plan...

and yet...she's also the one that manages to do something ridiculously funny in the midst of all the "order"  (did I mention the scaling of the gate in her senior session outfit?)

When she was a baby I used to tease that she looked more like my daughter than my OWN daughter did...and as she has grown, I couldn't be more proud of her than if she were my own daughter!

"Kendelee", I'm so proud of you...I'm incredibly thankful that I get to be your aunt...I get to call you my niece!  I love you to pieces...you make me smile and laugh...you inspire me with your hopefulness and determination for the future!

congratulations on this upcoming year and ALL that is in store for you in the future!

SENIOR SESSION: Mady CO 2020

Oh sweet gingers...

I love when I get to meet redheads :)  I know that each person (regardless of hair color) is unique...but maybe it's because my sweet momma is a redhead...maybe it's my Scottish/Irish roots...but, I love that ginger coloring...

They are UNable to take a poor picture...those sparkly eyes, the sun reflecting off those reddish tints...it's just beautiful and Mady is no exception...

She's responsible and conscientious...she's driven and a visionary...I loved her confidence and knowing her own mind!

What a pleasure to spend time with her, her momma, little sis and boyfriend that tagged along for the FUN!

Mady you are SOOO worth celebrating!!!

Congrats!!!
