Love of Family

We met at a sweet little park on the ONE sunny day coming from a long line of rain and cold...

This little guy was ready to go with his action figures and and eager spirit!...I love when I get to photograph families that just like to BE...they are just natural and comfortable in their own skin and have a comfortable-ness with each other (is that even a word?)

 You can tell that the "boys" like hangin' out...

but, they will always love "Momma" with all their hearts...

 It was an absolute joy to spend time with this fun family...not to mention, it was wonderful to be outside again in the sun and to watch the colors just starting to pop out this spring!

And now there are 5

I met them this past summer at a wedding I was shooting in Florida...little did they know that just 9 months later, their family would expand from 4 to 5...

This cute little addition was welcomed to their home just a few weeks ago. 

I had the opportunity of walking into their beautifully decorated and welcoming home when he was just barely 2 weeks old.  His big brother and big sister were oh so proud to show off their new little bro!

Their dad had done a phenomenal job of creating an entirely new room for the little guy...complete with built in shelves and  BEAUTIFUL wood flooring! I was completely oohing and ahhing over the entire set up!

 He was such a sweet little thing...slept so soundly and then opened those bright peepers for a few moments now and then...We couldn't resist wrappin' him up in a little cocoon made by Grandma...

It was a wonderful afternoon...spent making memories and capturing expressions and tiny toes...things that seem to disappear in just a matter of weeks...
