FAMILY SESSION: tell a story

If you endeavor to do a photo session with me...
first off, I suppose you ought to know that I'm a tad "boistrous" and I've probably had a couple cups of coffee beforehand...

but, beyond that little tidbit, you should also know that, once we go for that "everyone look at the camera" picture, I'm all about the story...

As long as you are up for the experience and the story that will be told, I know that you'll not only be able to enjoy yourself and your kids, but, you'll be happy with the outcome of your pictures as well...

because, we will have captured the laughs and the eyes to your children's souls...We can save the yearbook picture for the schools to obtain, but for our time, I'm looking for connection so that it becomes a fond memory...

This family, I must mention right off, is just plain magazine beautiful...they have the look that just fits them right into those sweet advertisements...

but, what you might not know until you start to scroll through these images is that their little girl is a shy little princess...She brought her sparkly purse and did not like to leave her momma's side.  That is not a bad thing...AT.ALL...

you see, when she's 15, she will be okay with getting individual pictures...infact, she might be taller than her momma and may want to do her own thing...she'll have given up carrying around a sparkly purse and maybe she'll have ideas of her own...

but this is who she is right now...and can I tell you, as a mom of a couple of teenagers already, that I absolutely cherish those times when they wanted to twirl in dresses and hang on my neck.  My eldest is 3 inches taller than me and I can't carry her on my hip anymore...

pictures that remind me of the times in the past...I am so thankful for those...

These are pictures of the story of their life in the NOW...

and I know that they hold dear every moment!
