Things are starting to wind down here...

It's been a FULL Fall season for sure!

Our country has had a difficult season as I write this post, there are so many hurting, so much loss, so much fear, so much anger, so much unknown...

Senior year seems to creep up quickly...and all of a sudden you are thrown into the realm of adulthood...where the things in our world affect us on a different level...this is the world into which Seniors are be leaders, to be the kindness, the joy, the maturity, the that maybe the hurt can be avoided...or maybe they will bring the healing...

Alayna is strong...I admire her confidence...and I was impressed with her maturity and insight as we spent time chatting during her Senior Session. Life is one big unknown and the older we get, the more we realize that we are not in control of the circumstances and things that happen...but we can make the choice as to how we we choose to live...what we choose to believe and to whom we choose to listen...

I think Alayna will be choosing to listen to truth, to be trusting of those around her that have consistently given her stability...she is going to make a mark on this world for the better...whether it be in big or small ways...she will make an impact!

Congrats Alayna!  You are beautiful!
