FAMILY SESSION: THUNDER...and lightning and LETS DO THIS

We had been rained out twice...

Fall schedules are ridiculously hectic...especially with tween and teenagers....

and the forecast was showing the big green monster on the radar heading our way...

I'm not sure I've ever worked quite so quickly, nor RUN to different locations as much as I did during their session...

I have taken their family pics for years and I LOVE the different types of sessions we've had...sometimes urban, sometimes nature, sometimes a walk in the rocks & river...it's always different...

So, we mixed it up again this year, with some "Towny" pics...

the only "glitch" was the thunder and lightning and the ever darkening sky...

oh my heavens...(pun intended!)

I feel like I need to insert THIS song here...

The light was nearly gone (although hopefully you can't tell too much as THIS is the reason for photoshop...when you have situations that are uncontrollable and a schedule that is super tight...you do whatever you can to make it happen!) #photoshoptotherescue #doesitlooksunny

Believe it or not, my family actually ran into their family in FLORIDA of all places this year...randomly wandering around Disney and smacked right into them...

another reason I love this profession...the meeting of people, the joy of interaction, the cultivating of relationship, the happiness of knowing :)

This family is lovely and I'm honored to be in their circle of belonging ;)

............................

The countdown has begun and my galleries are nearly complete!!!

Who is ready for some "crafting" this December???
