SENIOR SESSION : Nick

It's starting to kick into high gear folks...

School starts TOMORROW for lots of us and the only thing that keeps running through my mind is, "where the heck has the summer gone?"

I know, I know...we say that every year...time "feels" like its flying, but mostly it's just because we're all so caught up in LIFE that it doesn't occur to us to watch the clock or the calendar...we're just doing life and enjoying our people!

But, regardless of whether I'm ready or not...it's coming...another year...

I have one in HS, one ins MS and one is Elementary...
each one has their individual activity for the Fall and the homework helping, driving to and from, and to do lists will now resume...

I know one day that I'll wake up and even THAT will change...because they'll all be graduated and off being independent adults...

It's what our goal is as a parent...to love on them and provide security, stability, encouragement and discipline...so that they can go out confidently into the world...

Senior Sessions are becoming more and more poignant to me...reflective...REAL...

Because I'm a mom, I think I probably see students in a different light...there is a smile I'm looking for...a story that I want to tell...because, for me (and for each students' mom) it's not just about a pretty picture...it's about commemorating, celebrating the years, trying to bottle up all the years so we can remember!

Nick did an awesome job...y'all know that guys aren't the most enthusiastic about senior sessions, but they LOVE THEIR MOMMAS and so they are incredibly compliant and kind and polite and quite frankly, just the sweetest in the world...

He's a young one entering his Senior year too...having a fall birthday, like myself, we both entered our senior years as 16 year olds...and yet he handles himself with a great maturity and humility.

Enjoy!
