FAMILY SESSION: In a Blink...

I've known them 5 years now...

I remember the first time I met them, I thought I had been introduced to country music royalty...

I'm crazy like that...

I told them that I swore they looked like Shania Twain and Randy Travis!  

They may have questinoed my sanity and whether they had been wrong about securing my photographing services...

After a bit of time, I may have won them over...or perhaps they enjoyed the laughs with my ridiculous antics...

whatever it was...I wish I could bottle it up so I'd be guaranteed to have families like this come to me all the time...

They are a couple where opposites attract...she's the tall, gorgeous brunette with kindness in her eyes and always a gentle word on her tongue...he's the lighter hair, out front personality, that keeps everyone laughing...and then the kiddos are a smattering of combinations between the two of them...

each unique...each growing...each developing their own wings...

and in a blink of an eye...they'll be entering high school...and then searching for colleges...and that sweet couple that started the whole thing will come full circle, with bittersweet joy as they watch their hearts go out into the world, armed with a lifetime of love & parental investment...

I consider it a privilege to give families a means to remember...to look back and know that those moments in time were SOOOO very worth every minute!!!
