FAMILY SESSION: yep, this is a family session

My family sessions are rather unique...

We live in a busy society...we want everything perfect and we want it fast...

I get it...

trying to work around homework, practice, games, dinner, favorite TV shows, yard or housework....it can get a bit overwhelming trying to fit in family pictures, which naturally revolve around our incredulous Ohio weather as well...

Herein lies my philosophy...

There is a need to slow down...to take a deep breath...to MAKE time for things...

for some, that means a couple of hours, for others, often like myself, I just need a good 30-45 minutes to forget everything else and focus my attention of something other than the "to-do" list...

because, let's face it...as soon as that time is over, "everything" is still there, looming over me...staring me in the face and telling me to "get a move on"...

Therefore, the type of Family session I offer can almost be considered somewhat of a "mini" session...

20 minutes is too short of a time to truly "let it all go" or to really get those TRUE, down to the heart smiles...but, I understand the angst that can well up if "picture taking" takes close to an hour...

And so, I meet you in the middle...

We warm up with some "practice" in front of the camera...we explore a bit...we chat and run and maybe even climb a tree or two...

I look for ways to showcase the personalities that unfold, while you relax and enjoy the family time uninteruppted by screens or devices...

And then...it happens almost everytime...our short time is up and everyone is longing for more...

but, you drag yourself away, knowing that your family's "essence" was displayed...and you can safely get back into the pace of life...and yet, be able to look forward to coming back again...it's affordable, it doesn't break the bank...and it gives you a taste of that sweet family tranquility that reminds you that it's there...and it can be tapped into, even if just for a little while...
