My memories are interspersed with Allison's childhood...
the countless hours of pretend play in Narnia or a Boxcar...the summer swimming days when we "adopted" her as our own for the pool memberships...the sleepovers and playdates...cookie baking and indoor forts...
She will forever be a part of OUR Story and I'd venture to say the feeling is mutual...
Allison is a quiet soul but it is not void of ideas...though she defaults to the desires of others with her natural serving heart, she has an inner strength that not even she recognizes at times...
She is kind and thoughtful, eager to lend a hand, and has a compassionate heart that is a rarity one finds in others.
It was my pleasure to spend time with her and her momma (another genuine soul)
