FAMILY SESSION: Calie too

Just call me the "dog whisperer"...

Okay...not really...not at all...

I try, but I think I probably look silly enough with all my antics to get kiddos to laugh and have a great time!!!

But this sweet pup has been apart of this family for a long while and it wouldn't be a family picture without her...

It can feel like a daunting task to show up with your two young boys ages 2 and under, and your dog to a family photo session...

this is not lost on me...I know it's a tad intimidating and can lead to a bit of anxiousness in the "hoping" that the pictures "turn out" in the way that you envision...

This is where I come in and try to alleviate some of that stress...

You see...showing up for a photo session shouldn't be all that different than showing up for a playdate with friends...(except perhaps that you might be a bit more dressed up)...but, the fact of the matter is that you are there for an activity...and a FUN one at that...

It's a time for mom and dad to focus solely on kiddos...to play and interact...to "go on an adventure" to play tickle and tackle...to hold hands and walk...to tell stories and jokes...

I'm just there to watch it unfold and capture it as it happens...

yes, bringing an animal into the mix can bring with it a different level of approach...but, we roll with it...

and I believe...in the end...it pays off :)

I think you'll agree...

This family came back to work with me and I'm so glad they did...

I'm probably a little selfish in saying so, but this mommy is a "words" person...and she fills my cup with sweet words of cheer and encouragement...her heart must be filled at home because she, in turn, is so generous in her giving...

I'm excited to send their gallery very soon...
