SENIOR SESSION: Danny CO2018

Graduation is merely days away now...

I know that Seniors are longing for the awaited moment...and yet parents are still reeling and baffled at how it arrived so soon...

Danny is confident, intelligent and loyal...he knows his mind and goes after what he believes is right with all that he has in him...

it is a gift, this determination... and at the same time, it is a learned trait..one that has been instilled in him from loving parents...

the future is never a guarantee, and so we choose, in each moment, which step we will take...

we attempt to make the next right move and then, regardless of the outcome, we we can choose to blame, criticize or crumble beneath a perceived defeat 

OR 

we have the opportunity to hold our heads up with the knowledge that we gave it our all...

we can choose to boast about all that WE are in our perceived successes

 OR 

we have the opportunity to humbly move forward, and use that success as a stepping stone onward toward the next...

Danny, in just the short time that I met him, seemingly has the gift of the latter statements...

he has a gift of that quiet confidence...a deep knowing...

it's a gift we not only give to ourselves but, to those that cross our paths...

to be the person that gives, sacrifices, risks...and then shoulders the responsibilities of wherever the cards may fall with grace and steadfastness...

I have no doubt that Danny will succeed beyond his own expectations in the future, and will do so while bestowing loyalty and respect to those that he meets...
