SENIOR SESSION: Emma

She graduates in just a couple weeks...

The life of a Senior is jam packed with everything under the sun, combined with the excitement of the future and the cramming to get it all accomplished!!

Spring in Ohio can be unpredictable and it didn't disappoint with our session last week.

One would think that May would bring sunshine and cool breezes...however, our day was filled with whipping wind, and a chilly cold that made your fingers rather stiff when exposed to the air for too long. The wind gusts were up to nearly 23mph, but Emma looks at danger in the face and laughs...

I probably even tried to talk her out of doing her session, but I'm so glad that we didn't because her true colors shone through...even with her decision to move forward...blazing into the wind & cold...

she is fearless!

I loved her natural confidence...

I know that all people are unique and bring their own special qualities to the table...however, I must admit that it is unbelievably refreshing to meet someone who has a confidence that isn't wrapped up in hair, makeup and clothing...instead, she radiates happiness and joy...her natural curls just roll...her smile is relaxed and guileless...and because of that, you can't help but take a second glance when seeing her...she is striking because she is a whole package!

I will admit that I was a tad worried...
what if the wind ruined a hair style or blew her dress too much...
what if the cold made her teeth chatter and she became miserable...

but Emma...

again, she takes things in stride...she sees a silver lining in what others might consider a horrible storm...

It was an absolutely pleasure to spend time with her & her mom and all her animals that joined us in the end...

She is remarkable and I have no doubt we'll be hearing about her in the future...
