FAMILY SESSION: Wonder

I titled this post Wonder because of something Carrie posted on her FB profile page the other day.  You all know I read, so you can bet that I've read this series and actually read it with my girls as well. The trailer for the movie, based on the book, Wonder can be seen here

I'd like to add -ful to the "wonder" for the kids in this family AND for the parents as well.

To spend any time with them at all is to discover the respect, kindness of heart, silly-natured souls of this family. They each have their unique spin on things, but they "get" each other...

As a family, they've been called upon to manage through some "medical stuff", to put it extremely lightly, over the past 10 + years. And they've navigated with grace, perseverance and a patience that puts me to shame. 

I love when I get messaged that I have the chance to meet up with them again for another year! I was blown away when their eldest stepped out of the car this year...he changed over night...I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, being a mom and all...but, my session peeps become family to me and even moreso when I've had college connections with their parents for over 20 years!

I wish I could share all their session pictures because Dad had us in stitches and their oldest son followed suit...OH.THE.FACES!!! But, I'll save some of those and let them share on their own...

I can't wait to meet up with many more this year!
