SENIOR SESSION: Jadon CO2019

It felt like we were in a pseudo-monsoon this weekend.
I'm sure our grass and trees and all things nature enjoyed it, but it made for a bit of crazy for anything outdoors.

We went apple picking...
because I was feeling "guilt-ish" about the fact that my youngest hadn't been apple picking in FOREVER while I've been quite alright with grocery store apples for the past years...

It didn't stop raining...even after our 45 minute drive out to the only place having UPick Honeycrisps...

My husband is a saint...

did I mention the rain?  because if not, it will be helpful to understand that the entire orchard was flooded with about 6 inches of standing water...

my husband didn't have boots like us girls...

but he heroically waded through said water and carried our load of $35 half bushel of honeycrisp...

for all of 20 minutes it took to pick them before we were done and heading back to the van....

I'm not sure I've ever laughed that hard...

anyway...the rain has it's good points...

not only did it provide us with some lifelong memories, but it also gave me some time to play catch up with Senior Sessions and blogs before we really get going into September.

Jadon was on deck and it brought a smile to my face to see HIS smile on my screen.

He's congenial and kind...passionate and thoughtful...

I loved his musical talent, coupled with his fencing skills, and his dreams for his future...

I love meeting young students with drive and determination...

We enjoyed our time exploring and showcasing his many talents!

Congrats Jadon on a fantastic year!!!
