Smiles from the heart

There are smiles that are courteous...

There are smiles that are timid...

And let's face it, there are some smiles that are just cheesey...

But the TRUE smiles...

the get-down-to-your-heart smiles...

the twinkle-in-your-eyes smiles...

The ones that come from down deep in your belly and spread across your whole face...

the ones that make your cheeks hurt because you just can't stop...

THOSE are the kind of smiles and HAPPY that I'm after in a family session...

I will admit that sometimes it takes balancing things on my head, acting like a clown, making silly noises, doing ridiculous things...but..

in the end it's ALL ABOUT MAKING A CONNECTION...

Allowing a TRUE self to connect with another heart...

We were made for relationship...

and when relationships form...when hearts connect, in a real way...

you often can't help but smile...

and THAT is what I hope for, at each session I photograph....

I was not disappointed with these cuties...

Sometimes it takes a little longer...

it takes some walkin' and talkin' and jumpin' and skippin'...

it may take some tickling and story tellin'...

but we get there...

and then the hugs come out and the confidence shines...

Because when you are connected with ones that you have NO DOUBT love you beyond compare...your confidence soars and you feel as though you could take on the world!!!
