Hang On Sloopy...Sloopy Hang On...

I'll just start off right now by saying that the dog's name is Sloopy...

How can you NOT start a blog post with that title if it's the NAME of one of the members of the family? 

You can't...

so there...

This family has been apart of our lives for...ohhhh, goin' on about 6 years now.  I met "G" wayyy back when our family started attending our current church...and somehow...someway, we ended up in the same women's Bible study...over and over and over again...

Now, I could go on about how great her husband is...I've sung with him many a time on our worship team...he's a great guy! 

I could rave about their eldest son who married an incredible girl...(I actually got to practice my photography at their wedding) A year later and she still has stars in her eyes over him...

Well...then I'd have to start talking about their youngest son who is attending my alma mater and who has a heart bigger than I've ever seen in a young guy!  I appreciate his honesty and personable characteristics...

But really, I know G the best...and she is the type of person who is a true friend....she's the type of gal that can sort of "read" a person and somehow know all the ins and outs and figure a way to be a help to them.  She's incredibly organized...let's be honest, she literally just puts me to shame...I will NEVER let her into my basement!!! 

Then again, maybe I should...hmmmm...

I digress...

What I want to point out the most though, is her love for her family AND the way they return that love.  It isn't fake...it isn't a "put on" sort of show...They GENUINELY care for each other...

There's a verse in the Bible that talks about how "her children will rise up and call her blessed"...THAT'S what her boys do...

She's an inspiration...and she's my friend!  And I count myself blessed to know her as well!
