FAMILY SESSION: Young at heart...inside & out

As I was editing through this gallery, I was struck over and over again with the realization that this momma is never going to age...

I tried to figure out what the secret was...maybe it's her skin care, maybe she has really good genes...

and then it hit me...

In EVERY.SINGLE.PICTURE her heart is on the outside...her smile is utterly genuine...

and then I started to remember their family session...

they were not focused on images, what I was capturing...

she was purely and sincerely ENJOYING THE MOMENT to the fullest...

she was practicing a lifestyle of thankfulness...of seeing the joy even in the unknown...

I know investing in a photo session can be daunting...when you think of outfits and Ohio weather! and hoping that your kiddos will cooperate...

She did not appear to have any of these anxieties or concerns...

she just came with her husband that adores her...

she came to love on her kids...

to play and laugh and sing and be silly

she wasn't going to take any moment for granted...and she just allowed me to capture whatever they did together...

I'm literally sitting here with tears in my eyes (I know I sound sappy) because I aspire to be that way...I want so badly to control outcomes so that they turn out perfectly, instead of just enjoying whatever may come and seeking to find the joy in it...

I love their gallery...I love the silly and the unconditional love that is evident in their home!
