FAMILY SESSION: Ginger girl has an announcement

I don't remember the first time I met Sherri...

We were at college together, so maybe it was through a friend, or maybe it was the slowly getting to know her because we were on an activity board together, or maybe it was because she's cousins with my husband's "then" roommate...that "first meeting" escapes my memory...

what I do know, however, is that my experiences at school, at camp...they were changed because of her...

I love her because she's loyal, she loves fiercely and she stands her ground, no matter what else is going on around her...

She is reliable and trustworthy..she knows how to make you laugh and she knows how to just stay by you when you need some extra strength.

She lives far, far, far away now...

away from our common ground of Michigan...

She and her husband live & work overseas and I "perchance" get to see her once a year...

It was an honor to meet her little girl for the first time last year...

and this year...

well,

this year...she not only was turning TWO, but she had an announcement to make...
