FAMILY SESSION: The Girl House
Three daughters...
they have the spectrum of hair color and as unique personalities as snowflakes
The eldest is a reader and had my heart at the first mention of a novel...
So much so, that when I got home that evening, I immediately wrote up an email with book series links that I knew she'd like...
it's totally the teacher in me...
AND...another reason why I love being a photographer...
it's definitely a creative outlet for me to create pretty pictures for families...but, it's also another way for me to connect...
and isn't that what we all truly long for? to connect with other people, to develop relationships, to give of ourselves and have that heart-squeeze of hope that they'll do the same in return?
We are entering that time of year where LOTS of "relation-ing" is going to be happening...
I know, for some, it can be something that is dreaded...and for others, perhaps it's a sad reminder of loss...probably for some, this election year hasn't necessarily made for "happy" table discussions either...
As an extrovert, sometimes it's easy to just gooooo with the excitement and get wrapped up in the moments and you can perhaps handle more challenging relationship situations in the holiday context...and at the same time, there is a part of me that gets frustrated when things aren't how I think they are supposed to be...
it's been something that been challenging my heart of late...
I hope you'll stay tuned this week to blogs, as I promise to come to somewhat of a conclusion with my "heart matter"...
in the meantime, I think these girlies are well on their way to close friendships with each of their sisters and Momma :)
