Sometimes I wish I could just video an entire family session...so that you could hear the giggles and ideas and goofy noises we all make for the sake of a smile...

I love when little ones have "GREAT ideas" for their pictures...how they explore and just run off to BE who they are...

If you could see entire galleries too...oh, such stories to tell...

I try, in these simple blog posts, to just give you a glimpse into the lives of these incredible people that I meet all the time...

This family is HAPPY...I'm not quite sure how to explain it otherwise...they all had smiles on their faces from the moment they stepped out of their vehicle...

it was a giggle fest for the kiddos and Mom was just enjoying the moment...I feel for moms that hardly ever get to be in the pictures...that sometimes feel this intense pressure to get a picture of everything and often "miss" the moment itself...she was just relishing the moment to watch and be apart of all that was going on...all pressures set aside...

I count it a privilege to be able to allow families to relax and know that I'm just there...behind the scenes to document those interactions that already happen daily in their lives, but now can be captured in time to cherish for years to come...

Sometimes...(well, pretty much most of the time) it's more important for me to listen...to really HEAR what little ones have to say...their ideas and explorations...because for me, it's about pulling out and showcasing a personality, not just a simple grin...
