InHOME LIFESTYLE: Selah Joy

Every detail was thought of...

every nook and cranny spoke volumes and told a story...

from the pictures hanging to the colors on the walls...

everything with little Selah in mind...

I felt like I was entering a sort of storybook when I walked into their home...the feeling of nostalgia hung in the air...perhaps it was the Victorian nature, the solid wood floors & doors, the character and charm that graced every corner...

regardless of what might have been, they have made this house a home and I couldn't stop looking around in awe and discovering sweet surprises at each turn...

I think the other thing that struck me was a feeling of security or peace in their home...a place where tension & negativity couldn't find a resting place and therefore, it felt easy and restful and, just oh so beautiful...

What a place for a baby girl to grow up...

to witness firsthand, how mom & dad find beauty in everything...
how they pursue a calm and aren't afraid of cultivating quiet places...
and at the same time, with so much attention to detail, it is evident that thoughtfulness & play & pleasure are at the forefront as well...

Selah is beautiful...but more importantly, I believe her parents' focus is on her heart so that as she grows, she will reflect all that they already invest in and demonstrate in their day to day...
