FAMILY SESSION: Turning ONE

She celebrated turning ONE just before we entered into this November month...

She's a joy to her momma's heart...and the apple of her daddy's eye...

With her baby teeth popping out, she's learning to explore her surroundings and keeping her parents on their toes...

What a wonder and a GIFT...

I'm starting to recognize more and more, the GIFTS that we are given...sometimes we can get bogged down with the "to-do" of life that the "gifts" are taken for granted...not in a "set on a shelf" sort of way, but they just are a part of life...they become more "common" I suppose?  just a "fact of life"?

As my eldest turned eighteen yesterday, I just realized and reminded myself to be sure to STOP...

every once in a while and just ENJOY...

the world won't come to an end if I just soak in a few moments to celebrate, to give thanks, to refocus and CHOOSE to see things with a grateful heart...

I know this Momma has achieved that attitude already...she chooses JOY and remembers to celebrate the little things, even in the seemingly mundane throes of life...
