FAMILY SESSION: snuggles abound

They told me when we met up that they had actually MOVED...

like...

OUT OF STATE...

But they were back to visit (and run a half marathon) and were able to snag a session date/time AND get Ohio weather to cooperate...

It was meant to be!

And I'm so, so glad...

Littles grow so fast...they change every year...

goodness, I feel like my own daughters change every month...my eldest towers over me, steals my shoes and sweaters...my middle girl is off in DC with her 8th grade trip...my baby is already learning violin and creating beautiful artistic drawings...

we are a long way from potty training, baby food, learning our ABCs...

Life just doesn't slow down...and we are just meant to walk the walk, step by step with our loved ones...

So often, I forget to consciously cherish the moments...

I get caught up in the to-do lists, and cleaning and carpooling and cooking and...

I'm thankful for families that recognize that a brief 30-45 minute session to capture the NOW is worth the effort...the investment...

It's worth getting off the treadmill of life for a small pause...

This family made a great effort and the smiles that were captured, the snuggles and hugs from two little boys that are all too soon going to grow into young men...are worth it.

We climbed trees, threw leaves, played ring around the rosy, tackled daddy, snuggled momma, group hugged and expended all the energy that revolves around being a little boy!  It was wonderful!  THEY are wonderful!
