FAMILY SESSION: Mommy/Daddy Time

I've known Lisa for a little while now...she's come to my mentoring classes to learn how to use her big camera...she adores her family and she wants to capture LIFE...documenting the moments...

The thing that we photographers run into however, is that we are always on the OTHER side of the camera, not in front with all the action & connection that is taking place...

Oh, we capture the sweet little happenings and all the big events...but it almost seems as though we aren't there at all when you go back and look at all the images...

Therefore...

this session was specifically focused on MOMMA being in those pictures! 

It is evident that she takes a very active role in the lives of her kiddos..."hands on" would be a good descriptive narrative of her involvement... (and dad's too!)

hugs and cuddles, tickling and face to face conversations are part of the everyday for all of them...

They traveled from Toledo for their session and we used every ounce of sunshine that Ohio weather threw at us...and then they scurried off for their pizza reward when the evening was finished...

I wish I had thought to have someone capture these types of moment with my daughters when they were this age...
