FAMILY SESSION: Doin' Something RIGHT!

I am humbled and honored by the families that keep coming back to me year after year...I often wonder what they think when they compare the growth of my photography over the years...I've had official clients for 7 years now and I know I feel different being in my 40s  than I did when I started...

There are hundreds of photographers in this area...and I've met lots of them...they are sweet, engaging, and "SEE" life in unique and beautiful ways...

THAT is why I am humbled beyond belief when people choose to use CT PhotoMemories to capture their family.

I'm even more appreciative and in awe when NEW folks find me...and trust me...

I don't take that kind of responsibility lightly...

Anytime I am in service to others, I feel the weight of the role...

I felt this same way when I taught elementary school...the children in the seats of my "audience" were counting on me...

I do recognize my limitations and I understand that I will never be perfect...but, you'll never be able to stop me from pushing myself to the limit in order to get the very best that I can produce in whatever circumstance I'm placed in...

It's just sort of ingrained in me...

There are times and sometimes it's just personality or a "click"...I'm not quite sure how to explain it...but, things just fall into place without me even trying...

It was like that with this family...

No matter where we walked around, or whatever "pose" I started them in...the images just came...I didn't have to overthink or try to determine the "next step" during our session...it just happened...

They are genuinely happy folks...and there isn't a pretense with them...there interactions weren't strained or conjured up...they happened naturally and I just happened to be in the background shooting a gazillion pictures, watching it unfold...

they are doing something right...probably a LOT of things right...to have this kind hearted son, who is respectful and content...to have a family where it is evident that JOY abounds...
