I love living in a small town...

Okay, so living on the outskirts of a Columbus, Ohio MAY not constitute living in a small town...

So, how can I explain it...We live out in the "boonie" part of the city...is there even such a thing?  I'm here to tell you that YES...there is...And what I love about it, is the atmosphere of family.  You see people on their tractors and the farm machinery is always causing the "traffic" to slow all through the back roads... the school is located right smack in the middle of two big farming fields, right across the street from the railroad tracks...down the road from the horses...

All the kiddos ride the bus, "cuz otherwise they'd be walking uphill both ways with hot potatoes in their pockets to keep their hands warm"...

Are you getting the picture?

The point is, we're all out here together...and there's a sense of comradery that I wouldn't trade for the world...

It's how I met this family...their oldest and my middle girl are in the same class at school...and I was privileged to hang out with their whole family one afternoon...We had so much fun...I wish I could show you ALL the pictures...but, I had to settle on just a few...

I love how this family knows how to have a good time together...and I "might" just sneak in a sticking out your tongue one over on facebook...:)  Hope "mom" is okay with that...considering SHE'S the one who did it:)
