SENIOR SESSION: Kaitlyn CO2020

Seeing things with a creative eye...

For those that struggle with to-do lists, worries of the future, juggling a million activities...

this can be a challenge...

I'm one of those people...

I have what feels like SO much going on...and (if you are an enneagram person, I'm a SIX!) I'm a worrier by nature anyway...I'm in a constant state of planning for 'worst case scenarios'...

Why do I mention all this?

Because, once you recognize things in yourself, that doesn't mean that you HAVE to stay that way...

you have a CHOICE!

There are times that I must make the conscious effort to step off of the people mover that keeps me on an ever-traveling, high speed pace...

and CHOOSE to SEE...

It doesn't have to be dynamic or earth-shattering...sometimes it's just in the everyday, mundane things of life...

but, there IS beauty to be found...

Kaitlyn reminded me of this just by her nature during our time together...

As an aspiring photographer, she is constantly on the lookout for angles and light and moments...

And even on this precipice of adulthood, she's recognizing the need to take a breath and just BE...

She savors the moments, enJOYs them fully and then basks in the memories that have been made...

You can see it in her eyes...in her smile...

I'm continually in awe of these Seniors that I meet each year...the maturity they have already attained and the hopefulness that they give to all they come in contact!!

Congrats Kaitlyn!!!  I know this year is going to be GREAT!
