SENIOR SESSION: Emma CO2020

The weather wasn't looking like it was going to cooperate...
the storm clouds were rolling in...it was dark and gloomy...we weren't quite sure we could outrun the rain (if it should make an appearance)...

I'm a #6 on an Enneagram and so I'm forever conjuring up "strategies" to combat "worst case scenarios"...I don't like when plans mess up and I'd much rather the HAPPY... (that might be my wing 7 making an appearance there...) so, when we saw the clouds clustering and the sky turning grey...and just the tiniest of drops falling...we made our escape and headed onto the next location...

In all reality, although the pictures ARE themselves important...there is a significant part of a Senior Session that is a MEMORY...a STORY in and of itself...a CELEBRATION...and I think that's why I like them so much...

Emma is unique and friendly and kind and a gentle spirit...with a fierce determination that makes her a force to be reckoned with on the soccer field...

it's these dichotomies that are intriguing...the multi-faceted individuals that have this incredible potential and drive and beauty and spirit...

We spend countless hours and trips to studios for pictures when they are babies...to celebrate their "firsts"...and so a Senior Session becomes almost a culmination of it all...

Pictures that showcase their hobbies or sports...that celebrate their laughter and happiness...that convey their style, their personality, their heart!

Emma is easy to be around...what you see is what you get...and that makes your defenses disappear because you can let your guard down and just BE...

that's a beautiful quality in such a young adult...it doesn't mean all insecurities are gone...it just means that she's accepting of others and willing to search for the good in everyone...

We had a wonderful time and I'm so excited to follow along and see all the things she will accomplish in the future!

Congrats Emma!!
