head of the household

I can't even begin to tell you how much respect and admiration I have for this family, especially the head of this household.

He happens to be our financial advisor...
the man, that when I came with my husband, into his office, nearly in tears because we had to discuss the whole "will" thing and what would happen if one of us died...

*gasp*

I can't even talk about it without getting all jittery...

But, he...calm, straightforward, collected...said just the right thing at just the right time...
I don't know if he runs into "crazies" like me on a consistent basis, but he handles himself with integrity and a large measure of grace.

My husband and I visit his office once or twice a year...each time we walk in, we become the center of his focus and we leave encouraged and thankful for all his knowledge and the way he handles himself professionally as we discuss those "sticky" conversations around finances.

It was such a pleasure to meet his entire family and to roam around the acreage where they have done some amazing work on their home.

I appreciate their devotion to one another, their willingness to never give up, to sacrifice for each other, even when it's hard...and to celebrate the really great moments in life as well!
