SENIOR SESSION: Sarah CO2018

As we plunge into the weekend celebration of Mother's Day...my heart goes out to the mothers that are awaiting graduation day...

it's looming just above...

their "babies" will be making a declaration of their impending independence...

it's the moment towards which we have aspired...

as a mother, our goal is to train our children to be confident, independent, respectful, hard-working, humble yet strong...

We all want more for our children than we had ourselves and above all, we want them to take hold of their future, of their happiness...to be fulfilled in whatever aspirations they deem worthy!

To the moms that see that light, glaring from the end of the tunnel...
that recognize that they are on the precipice of a new "parenting" journey...
that see the "change" coming...

I applaud you...
I am inspired by you...
I cheer for you...

It's amazing how one "day" can be filled with so much pride and joy and at the same time be a bitter pill to swallow...

Sarah has been poured into by her mother AND her grandmother (both of whom came along on our session time together)

Generations have guided, comforted, protected, and most of all LOVED on Sarah..

She is a remarkable young woman...

Her apparent reserved nature only endears you to her...With a genuine smile and sparkle in her eye...you can see the tiny bit of mischievousness that hides, waiting for a bit of fun :)

During our session, we had a grand idea of going to the top of a balcony in a building...within minutes we recognized our mistake as Sarah got locked out on the balcony itself, stories above me and I was locked out of the entire building.  She didn't lose hope and I didn't lose faith...and together, we got ourselves out of that crazy little mess...with a memory to take with us...

along with a few giggles as well...

Congratulations Sarah...I can't wait to see what your future holds!
