What Chapter are you on?

That question gets asked a lot in our home.
I'm an avid reader and my daughters are becoming so...I think it's more difficult in this "technology" age to pull ourselves away from all the distractions...but we truly attempt to do so in our house...
And so, we have piles of books and book baskets and magazine racks...they are in the office, the living room and even the bathrooms...
It's intriguing to me how stories captivate us...they eagering pull us back for more...
I just finished reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane to my youngest daughter. This was the 3rd time for me...my older girls would come in and listen when they needed a break from homework...and they'd ask, "what chapter are you on?"
However, my youngest daughter would say every night..."can't you just read one more chapter?"
I mention all this because Life, to me, reads like a story...
My "life story" has many settings, plot changes, ups and downs, different characters entered and some left for eternity...
However, just as I sat and read the Edward Tulane story AGAIN and I cried all over again at the end...I like to "relive" MY life story...I like to go back and see those "chapter" where I had my dog Sammie...experience the awe of traveling to Australia...gaze into the eyes of my newborn daughters...remember what it was like when it was only the 3 of us...
the list goes on...
So, what "chapter" in life are you on?
Who are the "characters" right now?
What will you want to "relive" someday in the future?
Family Photography Sessions allow me the opportunity to give to others a "chapter" of their lives...insight into the personalities of those "characters" at this moment in time...
This little sister won't always gaze lovingly at her older brother...but it is evident the trust and security she feels being around him...there will come a day when the kids are too big to swing...and headbands may go by the wayside...
This family was adorable together...they're writing their narrative day by day...I loved the ease with which they had around each other...the smiles & laughter that came so easily...
THESE are the memories to cherish...
love love love this Colleen. Love you, Aunt Wanda
